Faith without action and practice is a dead end as far as
Islam is concerned, for faith by nature is very sensitive and can be most influential
when it is out of practice or out of use , it quickly loses its liveliness and motivational power

(The five pillars of Islam(The Actions
1)(Shahadatain (Testimony
To bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah:The creator and that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is his messenger
Muslims are obliged to follow his exemplary life as a model

2)Salaah
Daily five prayers are offered five times a day as a duty towards Allah
They strengthen and enliven the belief in Allah and inspire man to higher morality
They purify the heart and prevent temptation towards wrong-doings and evil things

They are
[Salaat Al Fajr[The Dawn prayer
[Salaat Al Duhr[The Noon prayer
[Salaat Al Asr[The Afternoon prayer
[Salaat Al Maghrib[The Sunset prayer
[Salaat Al Isha[The Evening prayer

3)[Zakaah [Charity
The literal and simple meaning of Zakaah is purity while its technical meaning designates the annual amount in kind or cash that a muslim with means must distribute among the rightful beneficiaries from his yearly net savings
But the religious and spiritual significance of Zakaah is much deeper and more valuable than its humanitarian and socio-political value

4)[Sawm[Fasting
The Muslims during the month of Ramadan do not only obstain from food ,drink , and sexual intercourse from dawn to sunset but they are also required to refrain from evil intentions and desires throughout the whole months in general and during the month of Ramadan in particular

Sawm teaches love, sincerity and devotion and develops a sound social conscience, patience,selflessness ,a will power as well

5)[Hajj [Pilgrimage to Mecca
It is to be performed once in a lifetime so long as one can afford it financially and physically and it is the largest annual convention of faith where Muslims meet to know one another, study their common affairs and promote their general welfare without prejudice or bias as to one's color , race or nationality
Afterall,everyone is equal in the sight of Allah and so Hajj demonstrates in effect the universality of Islam and the brotherhood and equality of Muslims
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
ان الايمان بدون عمل لا معني له لان الايمان بطبيعته امر حساس ومهيمن علي الفرد.
وعندما يخلو الايمان من ممارسة الشعائر يفقد روحه ودافعيته.
أركان الاسلام:
1)الشهادتين:
أن نشهد أن لا اله الا الله وأن محمدآ رسول الله ويلتزم المسلمون باتباع سيرته الذاتية كقدوة لهم.


2) الصلاة:
تفرض الصلاة خمس مرات في اليوم وهذه الصلاة تعزز وتحيي الايمان بالله وتسمو بخلق الفرد فهي تنقي القلب وتحمي الانسان من ارتكاب السيئات.
هذه الصلوات هي:
1) صلاة الفجر.
2) صلاة الظهر.
3) صلاة العصر.
4)صلاة المغرب.
5) صلاة العشاء.
3) الزكاة:
المعني الحرفي للزكاة هو الطهارة بينما معناها الفعلي في الاسلام هو ذلك المقدار المالي الذي يتعين علي المسلم القادر أن يوزعه بين مستحقيه من صافي مدخراته السنوية.
ولكن الأهمية الدينية والروحية للزكاة أعمق وأكثر قيمة من قيمتها المادية.

4) الصوم:
لا يكتفي المسلمون بالامتناع فقط عن الطعام والشراب والشهوة منذ طلوع الشمس حتي غروبها طوال شهر رمضان ولكنهم يتحررون من النوايا السيئة طوال شهور السنة بشكل عام وفي رمضان بشكل خاص.
ويعلمنا الصوم الحب والاخلاص والتعبد وينمي لدينا الوعي الاجتماعي والصبر والايثار والارادة القوية.

5) الحج:
ويقوم به المسلم مرة واحدة في عمره ما استطاع اليه سبيلا ماليا وجسديا
وهو اكبر تجمع سنوي علي الايمان حيث يتقابل المسلمون ليتعارفوا وينهلوا من الخير بدون تحيز او تحامل علي اساس اللون او العرق فكلنا متساوون عند الله.
وعليه فإن الحج يظهر عالمية الاسلام والاخوة والمساواة بين المسلمين .
